Virtual Fairways is a three-bay indoor golf simulator lounge on Refugee Road in Pickerington, on the southeast edge of Columbus. It is a small, walk-in room built for two crowds: serious players who need a winter practice spot, and casual groups hanging out on a weekend night. The three bays sit alongside a lounge with a bar, tables and TVs.
The simulators carry 25 courses, including the Old Course at St Andrews, Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, the Links at Spanish Bay, Wentworth, Merion and Royal Troon. The party package also mentions foot golf as an option alongside regular play.
Rates are $35 an hour for a single golfer and $55 an hour for two or more players sharing a bay. Leagues run in a two-person team format. The current season started in January. Teams play their nine holes at any time during Sunday-to-Thursday hours, and the top two meet in week 11 for the championship. The party package rents the whole place, all three bays plus the lounge, for birthdays, bachelor parties and draft parties.
