Royal Golf Zone is an 11-bay indoor golf simulator facility on Royal Lane in northwest Dallas, and it bills itself as the largest facility in DFW. The bays run KGolf and Bravo simulators in four bay types, from standard Crown Bays up to King and Queen suites. Every bay can be set to a driving range or a full 18-hole round on courses from around the world.
It is a BYOB room: bring your own drinks, a case of beer or a whole cooler, and bring or order in food; a small snack bar covers chips and candy. Three of the bays are set up for left-handers, with left-handed rental clubs on hand. Bay time is sold by the hour with no commitment, with the larger suites priced above the standard bays. The room suits practice, a full round with friends, group outings, date nights and family play, and it publishes a steady stream of guides on booking bays, beginner play and BYOB nights.
