Mount Hood Golf Course, known as the ‘Jewel’ of Melrose, Massachusetts, boasts a rich history of nearly 90 years in providing exceptional golfing experiences. Located just 15 minutes north of Boston, this historic 18-hole public course is set within 300 acres of picturesque wooded parkland and features the iconic Slayton Tower, which offers stunning views of the Boston skyline.
The course embraces its charm and tradition while keeping up with modern advancements, notably through the introduction of three state-of-the-art Trackman Indoor Golf Simulators, available year-round in the club’s beautiful clubhouse. Visitors can enjoy an afternoon or evening of indoor golf, complemented by a popular bar menu that includes delicious comfort food and expertly crafted cocktails.
In 2024, Mount Hood Golf Course is under new management by Sagamore Golf, Inc., a family-owned business with a long-standing history in the golf community, ensuring the continuation of quality service and golf offerings. Golf carts will soon be available, starting April 10, 2025, with patrons reminded to keep carts on designated paths to preserve course conditions during the spring season.
