Bob’s Indoor Golf & Games, also known as B.I.G., is an indoor golf and entertainment center located at 2249 East 17th Street in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The facility is across from the Grand Teton Mall and covers 10,000 square feet. It features four state-of-the-art golf simulators, an 1,800-square-foot professional putting green with a nine-hole course, practice areas for chipping and putting, and a 500-square-foot conference and party room. Guests can also enjoy food, drinks, and sports on large TV screens in a comfortable lounge area.
The mission of Bob’s Indoor Golf is to offer guests the best available technology and environment to learn, practice, and enjoy golf year-round. The team focuses on providing clean, safe, and fun experiences while treating all guests and employees with respect. The simulators use E6 Connect technology, allowing golfers to play 84 of the world’s top courses, including Pebble Beach, Bethpage Black, Bay Hill, and Pinehurst.
Simulator pricing is based on hourly rates, not per person. Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon is $40 per hour, noon to close is $45 per hour, and Friday through Sunday or holidays is $50 per hour. Most golfers can finish 18 holes in about an hour, while a group of four typically completes a round in around three and a half hours. Prepaid simulator hours are available for $40 per hour when purchasing at least ten hours, valid for twelve months.
Bob’s also offers seasonal passes from November through April for golfers who play regularly during the colder months. Leagues are available for men, women, couples, and seniors, with registration fees ranging from $100 to $175 per player or team. Weekly match fees are $10 per person. League play provides friendly competition, social interaction, and a fun way to keep golf skills sharp through the winter.
The facility is more than just golf. Guests can enjoy additional games and amenities such as four dart stations, professional cornhole courts, arcade games, ping pong tables, a photo booth, and large-format games like Jenga and Connect Four. The bar and kitchen serve food and drinks, and the conference room can host meetings or private parties for up to thirty guests.
Cornhole has become a popular weekly activity at B.I.G., with Thursday night “Show and Throw” tournaments open to the public. Registration begins at 6 p.m., and games start at 6:30. Players compete for cash prizes in a friendly and social environment.
Bob’s Indoor Golf also hosts special events such as the High School Challenge, the Club Pro Shootout, and the Club Championships, which encourage community participation and friendly rivalry among local golfers.
The owners, Bob and Debbie, moved to Idaho Falls after spending many years in the Washington, D.C. area. Bob worked for decades in the environmental services industry, while Debbie managed a senior dog rescue. After retiring and moving west to be closer to family, Bob noticed there were no indoor golf facilities in Idaho Falls despite a large local golfing community. Inspired by his experience with simulators in Virginia, he decided to open B.I.G. to give golfers a place to play year-round.
The couple and their team worked quickly to open the business before winter. Today, B.I.G. stands as a welcoming destination for golfers and families alike, offering realistic golf experiences, community events, and entertainment for all ages.
