The bay doubles as a private space for groups. It works as a sports-watching lounge, it connects to adjacent meeting space, and it includes HDMI and wireless screen sharing for presentations. The hotel offers more than 3,000 square feet of flexible event space in total, so a company can run a meeting and a competition in one visit.
The hotel is modern and new, and reviewers say so repeatedly. Rooms have hardwood floors, contemporary decor, and comfortable beds, and some include kitchens. Breakfast, Wi-Fi, and parking are all free, which is a meaningful difference from the paid-everything model at larger convention hotels.
Other amenities include a heated indoor pool with loungers and a fitness center equipped with Peloton bikes. The property is pet-friendly, accessible, smoke-free, and air conditioned, with laundry service and a business center. For a select-service hotel, the amenity list is unusually complete.
Munster sits about 25 miles southeast of downtown Chicago, within easy reach of Midway International Airport. For a Chicago-area golfer, the published rates and included clubs make this one of the easiest bays in the region to actually use.
