The Local Drive is an indoor golf and cocktail bar on Brighton Boulevard in Denver’s RiNo district, about a mile north of downtown. It describes itself as Denver’s largest indoor golf facility: 5,100 square feet of bar space with golf simulators. It is built for year-round play in an upscale, social room rather than a quiet practice studio.
The bays sit inside the bar, so the format is drinks and a round with friends. The bar leans on cocktails, with beer and wine alongside and happy-hour pricing at set times, and outside food is allowed if you want to bring dinner in. Live performances and sports on the screens round out the room, and it is veteran-owned.
Events are a big part of the business. The full space holds 144 people, and the team books team outings, networking nights, holiday parties and corporate events; the events line is (720) 955-6382. Reservations are accepted for regular play, and rates are set at the venue, so call ahead for current bay pricing.
Hours are noon to 8pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, noon to 10pm Friday, 9am to 10pm Saturday and 9am to 6pm Sunday, closed Tuesday. Free street parking, free Wi-Fi, and a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking, restroom and seating. As of this writing it holds a 4.9 rating from 172 Google reviews.
The Local Drive is at 3503 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO 80216; the main line is (720) 672-2802.
