Trevino Golf Institute is a golf instruction studio on Riggins Court in Reno, and it is built around player development rather than casual play. TGI has taught for more than fifteen years across four training locations. Its students count more than 35 Division I scholarships and 100-plus junior tournament wins.
The teaching method rests on three areas: swing mechanics diagnosed with TrackMan dual-radar data and video analysis, golf IQ and strategy, and a short game built on wedge precision, putting mechanics, green reading and distance control. Every instructor has competed at the college, professional or world-tour level, and that experience shapes the drills.
Formats cover the range of players: private lessons pair TrackMan data with video, and the junior academy runs year-round, structured programs. Virtual lessons let players anywhere send swing video for a detailed breakdown. Club fitting uses TrackMan and a full partner equipment inventory, from driver spin profiling to iron shaft selection. Playing lessons move to partner courses to apply mechanics with course-management coaching.
Lessons and fittings are by appointment. Hours are 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 5pm Saturday, closed Sunday. Wheelchair accessible entrance, parking and restroom. As of this writing it holds a 4.8 rating from 12 Google reviews. TGI is at 5390 Riggins Ct Ste D, Reno, NV 89502; call (775) 393-9049.
