Swing Rite Golf Center is a golf shop, driving range and fitting center on North Stevick Road in Lima, and it runs three indoor simulator bays powered by TrackMan 4. The same building also houses a gun shop, which is why the name carries both. For golfers, it is one of northwest Ohio’s more complete one-stop shops.
The three TrackMan 4 bays sit in a large room with big TVs and space to work on your game or watch a game. More than 300 courses are loaded, and the shot data serves practice as well as play. You can book a bay during a big sporting event, or just stop in and watch. Cold beer, soft drinks and snacks are sold; there is no kitchen, but delivery is welcome and pizza places nearby deliver. Rates change, so confirm current pricing with the venue before you go.
Fitting is a specialty. Mike Harmon, a Top 100 club fitter, runs fittings and lessons on a TrackMan 4 with a deep shaft inventory, indoors and out, and the pro shop carries a full lineup of major brands. The center is also headquarters for the Lima Junior Golf Association.
Open 10am to 8pm every day. Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking. As of this writing it holds a 4.9 rating from 51 Google reviews. Swing Rite is at 525 N Stevick Rd, Lima, OH 45807; call (419) 331-7483.
