Five Iron Golf Seaport is an indoor golf bar in Boston’s Seaport District, a short walk from the waterfront at 311 Summer Street. The two-story space covers 16,000 square feet and mixes golf simulators with a sports lounge feel. It is a walk-in venue where you can book a bay, grab dinner and drinks, and make a night of it.
Each simulator bay runs Trackman with multiple high-speed cameras, and up to six people can share one. You can play famous courses such as Pebble Beach and Bethpage Black, practice with full swing data, or try the contest games. Multisport simulator games add hockey, soccer, bowling and more for groups who want variety.
Bays can be reserved on the venue’s booking page, and walk-ins are welcome when bays are open. Rates are listed on the booking page and vary by day and time.
Hours run 6am to 11pm Sunday through Thursday, and 6am to 1am on Friday and Saturday. Hours can change around holidays and private events.
The kitchen serves a casual food menu, and the full bar pours signature cocktails and craft beers on tap. There is also duckpin bowling, a smaller-pin, lighter-ball version of the game, with two lanes that fit up to six bowlers each and no special shoes needed.
PGA-certified coaches teach on site, starting most students with a Swing Evaluation before one-on-one or small-group lessons. Callaway Tour Fitting club fittings use the same Trackman data. Leagues run through the year, memberships include daily free golf and other perks, and the venue hosts corporate events, birthdays and bachelor or bachelorette parties.
The mix of serious practice tools and casual games suits both regular golfers and first-timers. As of this writing it holds a 4.9 rating from 170 Google reviews.
