October’s update put 195 new golf simulator locations live on Golf Sim Spot. Each one was checked against Google Maps, the brand’s own pages and a photo review before it published. That makes October the biggest month in the directory’s history, beating everything except the original launch itself.

The Back Nine alone added 77 studios, which tells you how fast the 24/7 keyless model is spreading. Its new rooms stretch from Long Island to Southern California, with heavy clusters around Phoenix, Houston and Orlando.
PGA TOUR Superstore is a brand-new chain on the site, and it earned the spot. All 56 stores run public practice bays and simulators behind the club racks, with lessons and club fittings on the same floor. The Tampa store shows the setup well: retail out front, launch monitors in the back.
Five Iron keeps planting flags downtown. The new listings run from Boston’s Seaport to Rockefeller Center, with stops in Chicago, Louisville, Norman and Philadelphia.
And the best new address in the batch? There’s now a Topgolf Swing Suite on Lombardi Avenue, right next to Lambeau Field. You can warm up your swing a short walk from the frozen tundra.
How we keep golf sim listings current to the week
Most golf simulator directories get built once and left to age. Chains double in size, venues close, and the listings never hear about any of it.
We run this one differently: every week we track new openings across the country and add them as they come online. We watch the other direction too, and when Google marks a venue closed, the listing is retired the same way. As far as we can tell, no other golf sim directory updates weekly for both openings and closings.
Every new listing gets the same treatment before it goes live. The address and phone are confirmed on Google Maps, the details are checked against the venue’s own pages, and a source note is saved for every fact. Real photos make the cut only when the venue has good ones, and a location that hasn’t opened its doors yet simply waits. Our watch list holds about 75 announced locations right now, and each goes live here the week it actually opens.
The scoreboard: from 2,359 to 2,566 venues in a month
Back in September we counted 2,359 tracked golf simulator venues in the U.S. and called the growth remarkable. One month later the live count sits at 2,566, and this batch alone touches 37 states, with Florida and Texas out front at 22 and 21 new spots apiece.
The pace isn’t slowing, either. Between the 75 locations on our watch list and the franchise deals these chains keep announcing, the next batch is already forming.
