Just Fore Fun Golf Center is a full-service golf facility in Champaign, Illinois, offering an outdoor driving range, premium simulators, professional instruction, and a pro shop. It is now under new ownership and continues to serve golfers of all ages and skill levels year-round.
Driving Range
The outdoor driving range features elevated targets, bluegrass tee areas, a bentgrass putting green, and a large sand bunker. Mats are available when conditions are too wet for grass tees. Short chipping is permitted, and range clubs are available for free use. Golfers can check yardages to flags directly from their phones using GPS.
Spring and summer hours are 8 a.m. to sunset, opening at 7 a.m. on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On Thursdays, the range opens at 10:30 a.m. for mowing. Off-season hours from November through March are weather permitting, generally 10 a.m. to sunset.
Range Ball Pricing
Credit, debit, and mobile payments are accepted. Discounts are offered for cash payments between April and October.
Small bucket (42 balls): $7.56 or $7.00 cash
Medium bucket (70 balls): $10.80 or $10.00 cash
Large bucket (105 balls): $16.20 or $15.00 cash
Family bucket (140 balls): $21.60 or $20.00 cash
Winter rate (Nov–Mar): $10.80 for 50 balls
Simulators
The golf simulators are temporarily unavailable but normally feature advanced launch monitor technology for high accuracy and detailed feedback. Players can choose from hundreds of realistic courses and customize tees, weather, and turf conditions. Simulator play costs $50 per hour, whether used for full-course play or driving range analytics.
Available simulation software includes FSX 2020, FSX Play, and GSPro, each offering different visual and gameplay options. Notable virtual courses include Pebble Beach, Torrey Pines, Royal Birkdale, Carnoustie, Spyglass Hill, and many others.
Instruction
Golf instruction is provided by Tom Hebert of Pinseekers Golf. Lessons are available for individuals and groups.
Private lessons:
30 minutes – $50
45 minutes – $65
1 hour – $75
Semi-private lessons:
60 minutes – $55 per person (up to 3 people)
$45 per person (4 or more)
Lesson packages:
Three-lesson series (45 minutes each): $180 individual or $155 per person for groups of two or more.
Seven-lesson series (45 minutes each): $360 individual. Group rates for seven-lesson series: two students for $600 total ($300 each), or three students for $795 total ($265 each).
Pro Shop
The pro shop offers re-gripping, club fitting, and custom orders by appointment. Turnaround for custom grips is typically two to three business days. Just Fore Fun Golf Center currently offers equipment from Tour Edge, Cleveland, and Srixon, with more brands being added. Purchases over $100 include free range balls.
