South Metro Indoor Golf Club is a two-bay simulator room on Larc Industrial Boulevard in Burnsville, on the south side of the Twin Cities. It exists to solve one problem: golfing through a Minnesota winter. The setup is simple. Two bays, TrackMan, a putting area and TVs for the game.
Both bays run TrackMan, the radar system used by hundreds of tour pros. The software carries famous courses such as the Old Course and Jubilee at St Andrews, Royal Troon, Royal Birkdale, PGA National, Innisbrook Copperhead and Bethesda Country Club. Turf is the top-of-the-line kind that reacts like grass, and LED TVs keep the big game on while you play.
Bay time is rented by the hour and booked online through MindBody or by phone; walk-ins are welcome when a bay is open. A Gold annual membership guarantees an hour a week with advance booking, plus same-day walk-in use when a bay is free and a guest rate. It runs on a 12-month commitment. Rates change, so confirm current pricing with the venue before you go.
