Tee Off at The Wharf was built around its simulators, not the other way around. This is not a hotel that added a golf bay as an extra amenity for guests. The whole business is set up for it, with a bar and grill attached and a menu that expects you to stay a while. You will find it inside Portside on Main at The Wharf, the entertainment district in Orange Beach.

The games here go well past golf. Along with virtual courses and the Topgolf target game, you get football, baseball, soccer, hockey, dodgeball, and carnival games. That mix is what makes a Swing Suite work for a group that is not entirely made up of golfers. The golfers can play a course while everyone else throws a virtual pass or pitches a fastball, so nobody sits around waiting for a turn they did not want. The venue posts suite pricing and Par-Tee packages for groups, and it runs a golf league if you want something more regular than a one-off visit.

The bar and grill is a real kitchen rather than an afterthought bolted onto a game room. Tee Off keeps separate food and bar menus, and Google reviewers keep naming the same handful of dishes. The fish tacos come up a lot, along with the wings, the spinach dip, and the boiled peanut hummus. A soft-serve margarita shows up often enough in reviews to count as a signature drink. The bar is known for a good beer list and strong cocktails, and there is happy hour, wine, coffee, small plates, and late-night food. Outside you get seating, corn hole, and live music, which suits a beach-town crowd that is in no particular rush.

Hours are generous by beach-town standards. Monday through Thursday it runs 11 AM to 10 PM, and on Friday and Saturday it stays open until midnight. Sunday it closes a little earlier at 9 PM. Reservations are accepted, and the venue books catering for bigger events and private parties. It is women-owned, family-friendly, and built for groups, with free Wi-Fi throughout the building. The entrance, parking lot, restrooms, and seating are all wheelchair accessible. Call (251) 228-4899 to book a bay or ask about group packages.

The Wharf itself is a big part of why this spot works so well. It is a walkable waterfront complex with shops, a marina, and an amphitheater that draws touring acts through the summer. That means the Swing Suite can be one part of your evening instead of having to be the whole evening. You can play a couple of hours in a bay, eat without moving the car, then walk out into the rest of the district. If you are staying anywhere between Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, this is the closest thing around to a true indoor golf venue.

Google reviewers give it 4.7 stars across about 205 reviews, which is a strong score for a place of this kind. People mention the friendly staff and the pleasant outdoor space more than anything else.Alabama has two Swing Suite locations, and this is the one that was built around golf.
