Golf Lab is an indoor golf studio on Washington Street in downtown Cedar Falls. It has four private simulator bays, each running a Foresight GCHawk, plus a stocked bar and enough lounge space to hang out and watch the game while someone else hits.
Bay time is sold per simulator by the hour, and the price stays the same no matter how many people are in the group. Rates step up and down by day and time. The cheapest windows are weekday afternoons and late evenings; prime evenings and Saturdays cost the most. Rates change, so confirm current pricing with the venue before you go. Members get unlimited play through tiered membership plans.
The studio runs on a seasonal clock. Peak season is November 1 through March 31. The doors are open seven days a week from morning until late, and Friday and Saturday run past 11pm. The shoulder seasons run mid-September through October and April until the summer shutdown. Then it opens evenings Tuesday through Thursday, from 1pm Friday and Saturday, and noon Sunday, closed Monday. Check the site before a summer visit.
Events are a natural fit for the layout. The lounge and bar areas handle up to 75 people for corporate events, birthdays, holiday parties, client appreciation nights and golf outings with friends, and the whole studio can be booked. Family-friendly and good for kids, with free lot and street parking, Wi-Fi, and a wheelchair accessible entrance, parking and restroom.
