Five Iron Golf River North is an indoor golf simulator bar at 609 N Dearborn St in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, near the Magnificent Mile and the Chicago Riverwalk. It blends serious practice technology with a bar-and-games floor in the heart of the city.
Bays run Trackman with high-speed swing cameras and hold up to six players each. Play Pebble Beach and other PGA Tour venues, practice with full ball and club data, or turn on the contest games. This location also has two duckpin bowling lanes, a smaller-pin twist on bowling that needs no special shoes, plus a putting area between the bays.
Reserve a bay or a bowling lane on the venue’s booking page; rates vary by day and time and are posted there.
Hours run 6am to 11pm Sunday through Thursday, and 6am to 1am Friday and Saturday.
The kitchen turns out a full casual menu, and the bar covers cocktails, local drafts and canned classics. Lounge seating and TVs fill the space between bays.
Coaches teach one-on-one and small-group lessons, usually starting with a Swing Evaluation. Callaway Tour Fitting handles custom club fittings on Trackman data. Leagues, memberships with daily free golf, and hosted events from birthdays to business meetings are all on offer.
It suits downtown workers squeezing in morning practice as much as weekend groups. As of this writing it holds a 4.8 rating from 455 Google reviews.
The entrance is wheelchair accessible. Call (800) 513-5153 or stop in at 609 N Dearborn St, Chicago, IL 60654.
