The Golf Dome is an indoor golf practice center on East Washington Street in Chagrin Falls, southeast of Cleveland. It is one of the region’s long-running winter homes for golfers. Under the dome you get a full driving range, a pro shop, club fitting by brand and a teaching staff of PGA professionals. Mini golf and batting cages on the property cover the rest of the family.
The range line has 31 hitting studios: 28 TopTracer practice range studios and 3 TrackMan studios. Studio time is booked and paid by the hour, and any studio can be reserved online up to seven days ahead. There is also an indoor practice putting green. Weekday-daytime rates run lower than evenings and weekends, and there is a senior and military special on weekday mornings. Memberships bundle monthly studio time, putting-green use and shop discounts. Rates change, so confirm current pricing with the venue before you go.
The pros use TrackMan numbers in lessons and in the free game assessment they offer new players. You come in, hit balls, and a PGA professional reads your data with no obligation. Lessons run one-on-one and in groups for all ages, with coaches whose backgrounds run from Division I college golf to junior development.
Juniors are a big part of the place. Summer clinics run in three four-week sessions, and a winter junior tournament series draws enough players that results are posted on OHIO.GOLF. The affiliated Tanglewood Golf Club runs PGA Jr. League and a high school summer league that practices inside when the weather turns. Fittings can be booked by brand, and gift cards match lesson packages and memberships.
