The best golf simulator near the Las Vegas Strip

Five Iron Golf inside AREA15 at 3215 S Rancho Dr is the answer to the question most visitors are actually asking. It is the most-reviewed simulator venue in Nevada, 4.8 from 564 reviews, a short ride west of the Strip, and it is built for people who walked in without a plan. Trackman bays, high-speed swing cameras, more than 200 courses, a bar, and the rest of AREA15 around it. Rates shift by time of day, so check the booking page; Friday and Saturday nights fill.

Two things worth knowing before you go. Topgolf Las Vegas on Koval, the one behind the MGM Grand, is a driving range with targets, not a simulator. It is a great night, but you do not play Pebble Beach there. And Swingers at Mandalay Bay is crazy golf, meaning mini golf with cocktails. Neither is what this guide covers.

The other true off-Strip sim room is J Bar & Golf Lounge at 3545 S Valley View Blvd, a mile west of the Strip near the Palms. It runs eight GOLFZON TwoVision+ simulators in 12,000 square feet with more than 250 courses and a full kitchen serving wagyu burgers, crispy rice and kimbap. Henderson is where Las Vegas locals play

Hourly play is $50 per bay for one to four players, and the site’s own note is that you pay “if you hit a ball,” meaning spectators ride free. Walk-ins and hourly bookings run 8am to 10pm. Members get 24/7 phone-key access.

The membership tiers tell you who Henderson golfers are. Regular is $239 a month. Corporate is $399 for three user IDs. Youth (18 and under) is $159. And there is a Night Only membership at $99 a month, good from 10pm to 6am. Nobody else in the country prices a graveyard shift for golf, and in a city that runs on shift work, it makes complete sense.

Nice Shot Golf Lounge & Bar at 10050 S Eastern Ave holds a perfect 5.0 across 77 reviews with a bar on site. Flyaway Sim Golf at 1371 Raiders Way, near the Raiders’ practice facility, runs Trackman at $50 an hour for walk-ins and memberships from $179 a month, with 24/7 access for members and up to three guests. Sim City Golf Club runs two Henderson sites, on Stephanie Street and in Anthem, as a 24/7 private club on Trackman with unlimited reservations from $195 a month, rating 5.0 from 18.

24-hour indoor golf in Las Vegas

This is a 24-hour city, and the sim rooms know it. The Golf Stop, Sim City, Flyaway and Golf Oasis LV all give members round-the-clock access. Golf Oasis at 9175 S Las Vegas Blvd, on the south end of the Strip past the airport, runs TruGolf and Golf VX bays and rates 4.9 from 58 reviews.

The Back Nine Golf runs three Vegas rooms on Full Swing simulators, all 24/7: Henderson (5.0 from 27), Summerlin (4.8 from 17) and South Summerlin (4.7 from 15). The company’s own materials say no membership is required to book, and most memberships include 24/7 access, guests and unlimited tee times, with pricing that varies by location. For Summerlin residents, that is the closest round-the-clock option.

Serious practice: Vegas coaching studios

Gretsch Golf Academy at 8580 Dean Martin Dr is the serious room. Nine 20-by-20-foot training bays on Foresight Falcon simulators with Swing Catalyst video, two private bays with curved screens, and a short-game area with sculpted greens and real sand. The lead coach trained under Butch Harmon, and the academy runs a three-tier junior program (beginner, competitive, elite), a ladies league, clinics and club fittings. Hours are 8am to 9pm.
